Online Diaspora Meetup on 22 July 2026 Will Focus on the Role of the Moldovan Diaspora in the Republic of Moldova’s European Future
On 22 July 2026, a new edition of Diaspora Meetup will bring together citizens of the Republic of Moldova living abroad for an online discussion dedicated to one of the country’s key priorities: advancing European integration and strengthening the role of the Moldovan diaspora in the EU accession process.
The event will provide an open platform for dialogue, cooperation, and the exchange of ideas among Moldovans worldwide who wish to contribute to the Republic of Moldova’s European future.
The Moldovan Diaspora as a Driving Force for European Integration
The Republic of Moldova’s path towards European Union membership is a shared responsibility that involves public institutions, civil society, and Moldovan citizens everywhere in the world.
The active engagement of Moldovans living in European Union Member States plays an increasingly important role in strengthening international support for Moldova’s European aspirations, promoting the country’s image abroad, and expanding international cooperation.
