On the occasion of Easter, the Republic of Moldova has launched a significant social assistance program. This program aims at supporting vulnerable population groups, both domestically and abroad. The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Dnipro officially announces that Moldovan citizens residing in Ukraine, particularly members of the Moldovan diaspora, are eligible to receive Easter financial aid under this initiative.
Financial Assistance Details:
As part of this support program, eligible individuals will receive the following benefits:
- 1,500 Moldovan lei for each child under the age of 5;
- 5,000 Moldovan lei for each child with a disability;
- 5,000 Moldovan lei for adults with severe disabilities.
In total, more than 230,000 beneficiaries, including diaspora members, are expected to receive assistance. The program is backed by a total budget of 470 million Moldovan lei.
This humanitarian initiative has been made possible through the financial support of the European Union. The EU continues to stand in solidarity with the people of Moldova. The EU’s contribution underscores its commitment to supporting social programs aimed at protecting the most vulnerable, both inside and outside the country.
