From 3 – 21 August 2026, Diaspora Days will bring Moldovans from around the world together through a nationwide programme of cultural and community events
The Republic of Moldova continues to strengthen its relationship with Moldovans living abroad by celebrating Diaspora Days 2026, a nationwide initiative dedicated to reconnecting the Moldovan diaspora with their homeland.
From 3 to 21 August 2026, more than 160 events will take place in 104 localities across 24 districts, creating opportunities for dialogue, cultural exchange, community engagement, and stronger partnerships between Moldovans living in the Republic of Moldova and those residing abroad.

The Diaspora Days 2026 programme features a diverse range of activities designed for participants of all ages, including:
