Promoting Spiritual Renewal and Community Development
The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Dnipro, Sergii Stetsiuk, has once again demonstrated his commitment to supporting the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. He participated in a charitable mission aimed at assisting clergy and parishioners. Through the combined efforts of Consul Stetsiuk and the Ukrainian Horizons Charitable Foundation, the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the Bucha District of Kyiv region has been fully restored.
As part of this initiative, a new children’s playground was also constructed on the church grounds. It provides a safe and joyful space for children and symbolizes life, hope, and faith in the future for the youngest members of the parish community.
Solemn Consecration Ceremony
Yesterday, the playground was officially consecrated in a solemn ceremony. This marked an important milestone for the local community. The event was held under the spiritual blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine. He expressed his sincere gratitude to all those who contributed to this noble endeavor.
A pivotal role in realizing this project was played by Archpriest Bogdan Gulyamov. His dedicated pastoral work and inspiration were instrumental in restoring the church. Special recognition was also given to Metropolitan Symeon of Dnipro and Sicheslav. His ongoing commitment to church unity and development continues to inspire communities toward charitable work and faithful service.
High Honors for Service and Charitable Contributions
For his exceptional contribution to the development and support of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy awarded Honorary Consul Sergii Stetsiuk with a Certificate of Appreciation for Devoted Service to God. He also received the Order of the Great Martyr Saint George the Victorious. These prestigious awards acknowledge his selfless dedication, active civic engagement, and support for both spiritual and social initiatives.
