On January 31, 2025, a meeting between delegations from the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine took place in Mohyliv-Podilskyi to discuss the technical aspects of building a road bridge across the Dniester River in the vicinity of the settlements of Koseuts-Yampil.
High-ranking officials from both countries took part in the Joint Commission meeting, including the State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova, Nicolai Mîndra, and the Deputy Director of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, Vyacheslav Didkivskyi.
Both sides emphasized the importance of this project for the development of transport links and the strengthening of economic ties between Moldova and Ukraine. The construction of the bridge will help improve logistics, simplify border crossing for citizens and businesses, and promote the activation of interregional cooperation.
