On November 14, Ambassador Valeriu Chiveri held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Mischenko, during which topics on the Moldovan-Ukrainian bilateral agenda were addressed. The interlocutors also exchanged views on the security situation in the region, considering the Russian aggression against Ukraine. In this context, Ambassador Chiveri reiterated the Republic of Moldova’s support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders and expressed confidence in the achievement of a just victory.
Deputy Foreign Minister Mischenko expressed gratitude for the provided support and congratulated Moldova on the results of the referendum and the presidential elections, emphasizing that they will further strengthen cooperation between the two states, including by boosting joint efforts for European integration.
