On June 17, 2025, an official delegation from the Republic of Moldova, together with representatives of Ukrainian civil society, held a high-level meeting in Kyiv with His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius, Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
This significant event strengthened the spiritual and humanitarian partnership between Ukraine and Moldova, taking place amid Russia’s ongoing full-scale aggression against Ukraine and attempts by the Russian Orthodox Church to justify war through religious narratives.

- Sergii Stetsiuk, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Dnipro, lawyer, entrepreneur, and founder of the charitable foundation Ukrainian Horizons – initiator of the visit;
