Strengthening the Connection Between Diaspora Youth and Their Historical Homeland
In August 2025, a new edition of the DiasporaOriginiReveniri (DOR) program will take place. It will continue its mission of uniting children and young people from Moldovan diaspora communities around the world. The program aims to reinforce emotional, cultural, and identity-based ties. These ties will be between young members of the diaspora and the Republic of Moldova. This is their historical homeland.
Two Program Stages Scheduled for August 2025
This year, the DOR Program will be conducted in two separate sessions:
● August 4 – 13, 2025
● August 16 – 25, 2025
Each 10-day session will include an intensive and enriching experience filled with educational activities, cultural immersion, and Romanian language practice.
Cultural, Educational, and Sports Activities
DOR participants will engage in a wide range of activities. These are designed to improve their communication skills in Romanian. They also help participants connect with Moldova’s cultural traditions. The program includes:
● Interactive workshops and hands-on masterclasses
● Thematic excursions and cultural visits
● Traditional Moldovan dances, songs, and games
● Team-building and sports activities
