Enhancing Inclusive Rehabilitation at the «Malva» Center in Dnipro
In June 2025, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in the city of Dnipro reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility. It did so by donating an interactive sandbox developed by Briolight to the «Malva» Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities. This center is a municipal institution under the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.
This initiative is part of the Consulate’s broader efforts to support children with disabilities in Ukraine. The aim is to promote inclusive development through modern rehabilitation technologies.
Interactive Sandbox: A Modern Tool for Effective Rehabilitation
The Briolight interactive sandbox is a state-of-the-art, multifunctional device designed to support the physical, cognitive, and emotional development of children with special needs. It plays a vital role in rehabilitation and therapy programs by:
● improving fine motor skills, coordination, and cognitive abilities;
● strengthening the nervous system and internal regulatory processes;
● fostering self-regulation and emotional resilience;
● encouraging social integration and the development of personal competencies.
This advanced equipment is particularly effective for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), cerebral palsy (CP), Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental conditions.
The «Malva» Center: Providing Equal Opportunities for Children Aged 4 to 18
The «Malva» Center in Dnipro offers comprehensive rehabilitation services to children aged 4 to 18. Every two weeks, the center accommodates around 35 children for intensive individual rehabilitation courses. Since the beginning of 2025, the center has already completed 189 rehabilitation programs.
The newly donated interactive sandbox will significantly enhance the quality and scope of therapeutic sessions. It enables specialists to deliver more effective, engaging, and personalized care.
Moldova’s Ongoing Support for Inclusive Development in Ukraine
The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Dnipro remains deeply committed to supporting projects that promote inclusion, accessibility, healthcare, and educational equity.
