This week, a solemn ceremony was held at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova. It underscored the depth of friendship and the strategic partnership between the two nations. Dorin Recean, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova in 2023 – 2025, was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, First Class. It is one of Ukraine’s highest state distinctions.
The award was presented on behalf of the President of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people by Paun Rohovei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova. The distinction was conferred in accordance with the Presidential Decree of Volodymyr Zelenskyy No. 617 of 23 August 2025.
