February 24, 2022, was a day that changed everything. It was the day Ukraine faced an immense challenge, one that tested its strength, its spirit, and its belief in the power of good. In those dark hours, the world witnessed true friendship in action – countries that didn’t hesitate to offer a helping hand.
Moldova was among the first to open its borders, its homes, and its hearts to Ukrainians. Thousands fleeing the ravages of war found not just refuge here, but also compassion, understanding, and unwavering support.
During those incredibly difficult times, it was this shared humanity, this genuine solidarity, that proved that true friendship transcends all boundaries.
Today, as we mark the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion, we extend our deepest gratitude to Moldova. Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and for being a steadfast ally when Ukraine needed it most.
Our nations share more than just a common history; we share a common future. And we know that together, we are an indomitable force.
A friendship forged in the fires of adversity has only grown stronger with time.
