On June 4, 2025, a significant diplomatic meeting took place in Chișinău. A key topic of the meeting was further alignment with European Union standards. This included harmonization of border management systems between Moldova and Ukraine. This alignment was in line with the Integrated Border Management (IBM) framework. The two sides also discussed joint efforts within international and regional organizations. Their goal is to accelerate European integration.
