Moldova and Ukraine Reinforce Cooperation on the Road to European Union Accession

Chișinău, November 12, 2025 – Carolina Perebinos, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, held a high-level meeting with Paun Rohovei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova. They discussed bilateral cooperation in the context of European Union accession. The discussions took place following the European Commission’s Enlargement Package conclusions of November 4, 2025. These conclusions outline key steps for advancing European integration in the region.

Strengthening the European Path for Moldova and Ukraine

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the European trajectory. They highlighted ongoing efforts to implement comprehensive reforms, harmonize legislation with EU standards, and deepen economic and political cooperation.
