The Government of the Republic of Moldova has officially approved the Concept and Operating Regulation of the upgraded particip.gov.md platform – a unified digital system that will provide citizens, civil society organizations, and the business community with faster, simpler, and more transparent access to information regarding public policies, draft legislation, and government decisions.
particip.gov.md Becomes Moldova’s Unified Public Consultation Platform
The modernized particip.gov.md portal will function as the official national information system for public participation and consultation processes in Moldova. The platform will centralize information about all stages of draft decision-making – from initiation and public discussion to the review of recommendations and final adoption.
Currently, information about public consultations is distributed across different sources and is not always presented in a unified format. The new particip.gov.md system will simplify access to information and allow citizens, businesses, and stakeholders to more effectively monitor the progress of draft decisions and public initiatives.
Each draft project published on the platform will include a dedicated electronic file containing:
● official documents;
● submitted comments and recommendations;
● summaries of public proposals;
● responses from government authorities;
● information about the current review stage.
This digital approach is expected to strengthen transparency, accountability, and communication between public institutions and society.

Alexei Buzu, Secretary General of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, stated:
«Public authorities will be required to review these proposals and respond to them, and in this way we will increase the accountability of decision-makers».
